In January 2012, Robert Cox became ABode Manchester's new Executive Chef.
Robert has worked at the Michael Caines Restaurant at ABode Exeter and has been at ABode Manchester for the past four years.
He originally studied Hospitality Management at Manchester Metropolitan University where he earned a BA. He realised he wanted to become a top chef after eating at French temples of gastronomy such as the three Michelin star restaurants Michel Bras and Maison Pic. In addition to working with Michael Caines, he has completed formative stages at L'Enclume in the Lake District, Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles and The Square in London.
Says Robert, "I have learned a great deal from Michael and Mark Rossi [Manchester's previous Executive Chef] and am looking forward to building on this foundation and taking the food at ABode Manchester to an even higher level."
